Night Catches Us

OK.. There's been a movies I've been dying to see for some time now, and today it opens nation wide. Night Catches Us. Its just on of those movies you have to see. I got a Pre-screening of this film earlier today, and was over come by emotions. It was directed by Tanya Hamilton. staring with Anthony Mackie, Kerry Washington, Wendell Pierce, Jamie Hector.  Set in the mid-1970s, it offers a dramatic look at the Black Panther Party through fictional characters, in the years after that movement's heyday.

 
 Kerry Washington plays Patricia, a '70s civil-rights lawyer trying to put her former radicalism to rest in order to raise her daughter in peace. Complications arise when Marcus, the man many believe caused her husband's death, reappears.

I have been looking for some ways to reinvent myself and all this time its been right in my face at the 9pm slot on ABC DWTS!!. Every has-been and D list entertainer has all across the broad has been trying to get on this show. Not only is this a great past time for me.. its sure as hell helped these guys too. over the past five years its been a way to watch sexy porno with your family and not feel guilty you just let your kids see that. This is no joke, its making me want to cha cha and tango it up with my boo. Its even a great body building way to shed some pounds. so break out your dancing shoes ladies and mozy on down to the studio.

Countdown

Its already October and the New Year is fast approaching and I'm still wearing a size 16. So lets be honest here, I haven't tried hitting the gym or even eating right this whole year. Plus with all this good media surrounding Jennifer Hudson's weight lose its making me feel really bad, she did it with a new baby, new man and new album. Why cant I. I'm planning a New year's trip to NYC and would love to go back home slimmer and much healthier then when I went in June. So today I shall make a stand, I have 3 months to drop 30 pounds. I don't know if, I'm going as far to say I'm going to join weight watchers. But ill try. and keep you posted along the way.
